Sarah Bel has more than 15 years’ experience with strategic engagement, marketing and public relations working for international organizations and French public sector.

She joined UNDP in 2015 as a Communication and Partnership Advisor for the Geneva office.

She runs the SDG Finance Geneva Summit, a platform that brings together the development community together with the financial sector and promotesSDG compatible finance. Prior  to that, she managed the advocacy campaign of the Better Than Cash Alliance at UNCDF in New York to support governments to digitize their economies and move away from cash payments in partnership with the BMGF, Visa, Mastercard and the Ford Foundation. She also ran the outreach and knowledge sharing of the Microinsurance Innovation Facility at ILO in partnership with the insurance sector and the BMGF from 2008 to 2012 and the Outreach and Publications department of the CTA (UE/ACP) from 2004 to 2008. Sarah obtained her Master’s degree in Communication for Development from the University of Malmö Högskola in Sweden. She also holds a Postgraduate degree in Management from the University of Paris VIII, France.
